How often is the show held?
The Chicago Shoe Expo is held 4 times each year.  Always in January, March, June,
and September. Our offices are open all year long.

Which seasons show at which shows?
Our January show is usually a smaller one, showing immediate product for
Spring/Summer and introducing early Fall lines.

Our
March show is the largest of all our shows, showing immediate goods and full
lines for Fall.

Our
June show is smaller, showing transitional product, Fall lines, and introducing a
small amount of Spring/Summer.

Our
September show is the second to largest, showing immediate goods and full lines
for Spring/Summer.

How many buyers / vendors are expected to attend the show?
The January and June shows bring in 325-350 different buyers and 220-250 different
lines exhibiting.

The
March and September shows bring in around 450 different buyers and over 400
different lines exhibiting.

Where is the show held?
The Chicago Shoe Expo is held at  the Embassy Suites Hotel in Downtown Chicago on
the Northwest corner of Ohio and State.

How should I ship my samples for them to hold at the hotel until my arrival?
Shipments for arriving Chicago Shoe Expo guests should be addressed as follows:

When you arrive at the hotel, please ask a bellman or other hotel staff about picking up
your packages.  Security will get your shipment out of storage for you.

I have outstanding fees with the Chicago Shoe Expo, how can I pay them?
We accept checks and all major credit cards. To pay by credit card, please fill out THIS
form by hand with your credit card information, and fax to Nancy at 847-603-1942.

I am an exhibitor and I need an additional sleeping room, how do I reserve one?
Many times reps who are showing in booths need to book sleeping rooms, or if
company management is coming to the show, they will need a separate sleeping room.
In these cases, exhibitors are responsible for booking their own sleeping rooms. If we
have extra retailer rooms available, we will open them up to reps about two weeks prior
to the actual show dates.

Can I use someone else's card to reserve and pay for my hotel room?
If you are a retailer or a rep and you are using a boss/company/spouse's credit card to
reserve and pay for a room at the
Embassy Suites reserved under your name through
the Chicago Shoe Expo, you must have the cardholder fill out
THIS form in full and fax to:

If you are a retailer or a rep and you are using a boss/company/spouse's credit card to
reserve and pay for a room at the
Four Points Sheraton reserved under your name
